What We Do: Educational Initiatives

We have committed to helping students in Afghanistan get a university education.

There is a young man in the Bamiyan Province who was featured in Steve's piece on the Hazaras in the National Geographic in 2007, who wants to be a lawyer. Please see his picture on the left

We have been working with local officials and his family to help him get ready to study abroad.

We are supporting a Afghan young woman who is studying in a university in India.

We can help many more with your donations. Tuition, housing, and transportation are all very expensive, so it will take a lot of us working together to make it happen.
