What We Do: Accomplishments

Donated thousands of medical textbooks to the medical college and hospitals in Kabul.

Donated thousands of English literature texts to the English Department of the University of Herat.

Provided free transportation and admission for students to an exhibition in the Bagh-e-Babur | Queen's Palace in Kabul.

Started and support a school for refugee children and their mothers in Kabul.

8 villages in the Waras District have been selected for the Bamiyan School Project: Razak, Eg, Kunduk, Worzang, Petawqul, Wozdarghoon (Isteqlal), Dewan, and Jark. In total there are 2,036 students, of which 776 female and 1,260 are male.

Provided funds and facilitated the registration for two schools, Patewqul and Wozdarghoon for Girl’s classes with Ministry of Education in Kabul enabling volunteer teachers to be paid a government salary.

11,000 new textbooks delivered to these schools late July 2005. Pens, notebooks pencils and erasures provided as well.
